About CageCheck
CageCheck is a free tool for quickly vetting a federal vendor: registration status, expiration countdown, UEI/CAGE identity, and the NAICS/PSC capability profile — from one UEI, CAGE code, or company name.
What we do
We read dated public SAM.gov entity records and present them as a readable vetting card, with an optional vendor-readiness PDF and expiration reminders. Exclusions are a separate source: we label whether that coverage was actually checked and never turn unavailable data into a clear result. We don’t register entities, we don’t renew registrations, and we never ask you to pay the government.
Our data
Entity data comes from a dated public SAM.gov Entity Management extract, with an exact-identifier API fallback when configured. Because public data can lag, every result shows a “data as of” date and links to the official record at sam.gov. Verify there before contracting or paying.
Independence
SAM.gov registration and renewal are FREE at sam.gov. The U.S. Government never charges you to register, renew, or update a SAM.gov registration.
CageCheck is an independent, privately operated service. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the U.S. Government, the General Services Administration (GSA), SAM.gov, or any government agency. The official registry is at sam.gov.
