What we collect

We aim to collect as little as possible. The vendor identifiers you search (UEI, CAGE, company name) refer to public federal records, not private personal data. We do not store your search input beyond what is needed to return a result.

Email reminders (opt-in)

If you ask for an expiration reminder, we store the email you provide together with the public UEI/entity the reminder is about, so we can email you before that registration lapses. You can ask us to delete it at any time by emailing hello@getcagecheck.com.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics (GA4) to understand aggregate usage (page views, which tools are used, events like lookups and downloads). We do not store your private input in analytics. You can block analytics with standard browser tools.

Processors

Email reminders are stored and sent through third-party infrastructure providers (e.g., a key-value store and an email delivery service). They process this data only to provide the reminder feature.

No government data submitted

CageCheck only reads public SAM.gov data. We never submit anything to SAM.gov on your behalf and never ask you to pay the government — registration and renewal are free at sam.gov.
